Dress Success

I love whimsical dresses. I've always been a fan of dresses with less bulk, less patern, and less fabric (not to mean immodest in any way)..but, with a dress, less is more. Owning a basic dress with chifon and/or cotton fabrics is an important staple to every closet. You can take a simple dress, add a cardigan and BAM!...you create texture, color, individuality and harmony.

I love making every-day-wear exciting and fun. With pops of color and pieces with texture, you can really enhance certain features. For example notice where your eye goes when you look at this sketch...It goes upwards...for those of us with the pear shape, (generous hips and waist), this style is great for you! It draws your eyes up and creates balance to your body type.



Don't be afraid of color. Colors go with colors...there are no set rules! Play around with different pieces you have. Add accessories to your outfit with bright colors...someone is bound to notice. Shed some joy!

The idea of starting an online collection of one of my hobbies and joys has been swirling around my mind for a while now.
I love art!
I love being able to express myself and my thoughts and ideas and put them onto paper.
Clothing design has always been a fun way for me to use my artistic style and flair. Whether sketching or helping my fellow sisters pick out clothing for their body type, I enjoy having the freedom to put together my ideas with style and flair.
I will be posting my fashion sketches often with brief commentary on the design as well as giving pointers on the different body types and how the different styles and clothing designs will enhance certain body types.
And so, I begin this blog with the hope of sharing my love of art, expressing my design style, maybe helping a few of you, and of course having fun.
We live our lives in clothing...why not find joy in what we wear that will in turn enhance what we do and who we are!
